About this space

The Kapiti Softball Club has a fantastic venue located at Te-Atiawa Park on Donovan Road, Paraparaumu Beach

Our venue is a large, sunny space, a private bar & kitchen and lots of flexible seating.  It also has a deck and BBQ. Hiring the space includes:

• Seating for 50 (you can bring in more tables and chairs)
• Plenty of tables that can be configured classroom, board room, U shape or other set ups
• Use of the kitchen  (details below)
• Sound System
• TV access
• Wifi (if required)
• Maximum guest is 120

The space is great for: Community Groups, Kids groups, classes, workshops, kids school holiday programmes, training, yoga, knitting/crochet groups, meetings, quiz nights and networking. We would love to host regular groups in the space. Please message to enquire about a slot that works.

The space can also be used for weddings, birthday parties and celebrations. For a party set up, there is s fixed charge of $350 for the entire booking (with a bond of $200, refundable)

When booking a party, if you don’t intend to clean the venue and leave as you afound it, please purchase the cleaning fee. If you are unable to remove the rubbish, please purchase the waste removal fee. If your event requires security, this is $50 an hour. 

Catering

You are welcome to bring your own food or organise external caterers. Our kitchen space is included in the hire and includes:

• Hot water boiler, large fridge, sink.

Alcohol

We dry hire our club rooms. If you are intending to sell Alcohol you need to obtain a special licence from the Council.

Music

We have a sound system and you can bring a DJ or band for your party. We can have music until 12am. 

Access

There is no wheelchair access to the club as it is up wooden stairs. The facility has men's and women’s toilets. A key will be provided to you before the event, along with a meet and greet on-site.

There is free parking at the club.
